Some Big Changes Around Here *Please Read*

Hey everyone!  So…long story short, I’m running out of photo space.  It’s making me do the one thing on this blog I hate doing….Limiting my creativity.  I first realized this a while ago…when I was doing a photo shoot, and I limited my amount of pictures I took when I wanted to take more…And who wants to do that?  I thought I could just delete previous photos from the media library, but it ended up deleting them forever.  So now you guys can’t see my content from some of my past posts.   Bummer.  Big Bummer.  So I have some options:

1.  Create a new blog

*facepalms*  I don’t really know how this will work, I mean, how will I reach my same follower count!?  How will you guys see my recent posts from this blog?!

2.  Upgrade to the Premium Plan

I’m seriously thinking about doing this, even though.. *does math in head, maybe looks up because of laziness*  WHAT?!  99 bucks a year?  But the 13 GB, the videos, the custom theme…….

3. Ask you guys!

I’m wondering if you guys have any way to work around this!  PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!  Comment below if you have any idea how to somehow upload more than 3 GB of photos!

Also, I know I post a lot.  Like, a lot, a lot.  But I’m beginning to wonder if these daily posts have much quality.  I may soon be starting a quality over quantity thing with VERY QUALITY posts.  Maybe once or twice a week.  Which do you prefer, quality or quantity?

  1. Ask Clara from clarascraftcorner.wordpress.com about it! She found a way on how to have unlimited photo space, but I know the original way didn’t work out and she found out a new way, but I have no idea where the post is at. So definitely go to her blog and drop her a comment! She should totally be able to help you! 🙂

  2. I had the same problem happen. Now I compose my posts on blogger but I never post them there. Instead, I copy the post I composed and paste it on my wordpress blog, press publish and voila! Unlimited photos! I get messages that my photo box is full but I just ignore them.

  3. I think what Jackylina and Jaclynn said is good. Alternatively, you could re-upload your photos with smaller file sizes. I don’t know how large your photos’ file sizes are, but I size my photos to 500 px wide, and I only have 22% of my storage used up. Also, I think that quality is better than quantity, but it’s also good to have a balance between the two. 🙂

  4. I don’t think you need to do any of those things. Especially don’t delete your blog! please don’t!! I think/hope this will help- Step one: sync your digital camera, (or phone, whatever you’re using) to your computer. Step two: Delete the pictures off your camera, because you now have them backed up on your computer. no need to delete the pictures on your blog! This should free up space on whatever camera you’re using, and you’ll be able to take more pictures. You will probably have to get rid of old, random pictures, though. I hope this works!

  5. I have the same problem! Please don’t delete your blog!
I think quality over quantity… at least that’s what I tell myself when I go 20 days without posting… :p

  6. Don’t delete your blog!! Instead, try shrinking your photos before you upload them. Especially if you are using an iPhone for photos. iPhone photo files are huge. I am going to look into what Jackylina says about composing in blogger, but then just copying and pasting into wordpress too. Seems like the most convenient way to do things. Also, quality is definitely better than quantity. I struggle with this too. I want to just post and post and post, but sometimes that’s overwhelming for readers. It also doesn’t give your readers a chance to read and comment on what you’ve posted. I hope this helps! Good luck! 🙂
